Haze Lea is a floral design business run by myself, Katherine. Established in 2017 I work from my home studio in Witney where I design flowers for weddings and events throughout the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and beyond.

With an elegant take on natural beauty my floristry style is organic, natural and romantic - letting nature speak for itself.

Haze Lea was created out of a need to unite my passions for design, nature, and the beauty behind people’s expressions and moments.

I love: textural berries, trailing vines, twisted hazel and all things perfectly imperfect. Life is about balance…. the tamed and the untamed and I find happiness in finding this balance in nature and my work.

The Environment & Sustainability

A subject I feel very strongly about and is at the heart of all that I create!

Wherever possible I reduce, reuse and recycle!

Flowers are such a beautifully natural product, so with a respect to the environment that they come from and that we live in, my arrangements are predominantly designed into water using sustainable practices.

I source flowers locally whenever possible and avoid the use of floral foam, ensuring the environmental impact of your event is minimised.

Seasonal and Local

I work closely with seasonal availability to make sure your flowers are the most beautiful they can possibly be.

Sourcing the best seasonal flowers from carefully selected British growers and suppliers, many local. Seasonality and provenance are very important to me so I prefer to use flowers and foliage naturally available at their peak of perfection rather than sourcing from the world markets where possible.

Q & A

Can you hold our wedding date?

After you have enquired and we have organised your first consultation, I will mark your interest in the date so that I will contact you if I have another enquiry for the same date. I can't secure the date for you however until you have confirmed your booking and I have confirmed receipt of your deposit payment.

What do we do if we’d like to book you?
All I require is a booking fee of £200, and that’s it! You can pay this at any time after I have confirmed availability of the date. Whether that is before we have had our initial consultation or afterwards.

What happens if the wedding a long way to travel?

I am based in Fairford, Gloucestershire but I am happy to travel anywhere within the UK. However I must be made aware of this prior to securing the date. If you would like to discuss further please get in touch for a bespoke travel quote.

When is the final balance due?

The final balance is due minimum of 14 days before your wedding date. I'll contact you in plenty of time to finalise your designs, around 2 months beforehand, which will bring us smoothly into finalising your final balance. You can do this at any point however so If you are completely set on your design and it definitely won't change just let me know and we can look to settle the balance early.

Can you provide us with examples of your work?

Unfortunately this is not an option. I am a studio based florist, and do not keep a continuous stock of flowers. I buy stock based on seasonality and specifically for a booking. Please take a look at my instagram and facebook pages for more examples of my work.
